I thought of you when I saw this news earlier. 2009 just never ends, does it? So now Granderson is a Yankee and Vizquel plays for the White Sox (Sauron has just gained two new minions for his ever expanding domain). We're also gonna be completely shut down by Cliff Lee a handful of times this season, which will be bittersweet experience as he will almost inevitably don the Pinstripes Of Doom in 2011. Wheee. Ah, but take heart, Julie: there is still The Magic Helmet, our shiny new manager, the (slightly tarnished) awesomeness of Grady and that little dimply rascal Carrasco (well, maybe 2011 for him, who knows). And hey, if all else fails, we can't really do much worse than we did in the 2009 season, right? That has to count for something. Maybe. Heh.
