The news

Well, there’s a lot of it, from my point of view.

The sad news is that I had to have my little Cosmo cat put to sleep last week. She had been somewhat ill for some time, and then it blossomed into something more serious with no hope of recovery. I’ve had difficulty really processing her death. It seems unreal.

The happy news is that I have registered to take the LSAT in June. I have toyed with the idea of law school for years and am finally biting the bullet. Eek.

And the even happier news is that it’s almost spring! Whee! Maybe next month I’ll be able to feel my toes! WHEE!

Okay, so I didn’t have all that much news after all.

  1. Hey, Julie – so sorry to hear about little Cosmo.

But the law school thingy sounds fun.

The daffodils are late this year in Hackney; maybe they’re socialist daffodils striking for better weather conditions.

  2. Julie–Very sorry to hear about Cosmo. Darn it. It’s a good thing she had you to look after her.

Congrats on law school. Do you know what kind of law you want to study yet?

Here I am trying to force spring’s hand–planting seed, buying roses and bulbs. I’m banking on it not being able to resist the gladiolas.

  3. So sorry about kitty Cosmo.

Law school is a big plunge. One of my daughters is a lawyer, and one of my husbands was one. So I feel quite close to the law. I hope you enjoy it and that you find a way to use your wonderful creative talent. My husband always felt that good writing was one of the most valuable tools a lawyer could have. You are way ahead with that one.

  4. I’m very sorry about Cosmo; that’s always a difficult and painful choice.

Law school? Good luck. (Lawyer jokes to follow.)
