Hide the pill in tuna. Worked with our giant angry kitty.

Lay him on his back in your lap, press on the corners of his jaw with one hand, toss the pill into his mouth as soon as it pops ope, and blow on his nose (reflexs makes him swallow). Bandage hands and legs, retrieve pill from carpet and dry off, try again. Repeat until out of bandages or patience.
(This procedure actually did work with most of our cats over the years, there were a couple, however, . . . .)
