  1. What’s your NANO project??? I’ll be happy to cheer you on from the sidelines. Nano is too stressful for me–I don’t work well to that kind of deadline. But I do have a personal goal of 1K/day with an average of 5K a week for the current novel.

Didn’t even come close to that last month. *Shrug*

    Go Julie, Go!

    best,
    lisa

  2. I’m writing a YA novel set in a town much like my town where strange and mysterious things start to happen to all of the dogs. Wooo eee oooo!

    Thanks for the encouragement!

  3. Cool, Julie! I have 2 strong YA readers in the house who would probably love to be your beta readers.

    🙂

A book about dogs a definite plus to my 2 boys.

  4. Maybe you need someone to come and kidnap your Inner Editor?

Whipping can probably also be arranged, of course…

  5. Almost halfway through. This is the most difficult time, I found, when I did it a couple of years ago – so much effort and yet (it seemed) so long to go.

Keep going! The time will seem to have flown past when it’s all over.

  6. Julie,

I’m Alan King, a writer living in the DC/MD/VA metropolitan area.
I have a chapbook Transfer that I would like to swap for one of
your chapbooks. Writing samples are available at
    http://myspace.com/alanking81 and http://myspace.com/bustransfer.

If after reading the samples you are interested in trading, please
provide a mailing address for me to send a copy.

Thank you in advance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Until then,
    Alan

  7. Hey! What’s up with your feed? I unsubscribed and re-subscribed, but still the last thing down the pike is from Nov 16. Did you turn it off? Nic

  8. Nic, I didn’t turn it off on purpose!

It says it’s on. I’m turning it off then back on to see if it fixes it.

    Thanks for the heads up.
