So much for delayed gratification

Steve and I are shockingly instant gratification-type people.

What does this mean? You guessed it. We opened our gifts already.

I got loot, people. Serious materialistic joy was had. And then there was the maple popcorn which might sound nasty but my god. It’s like a bucket o’ crack.

  1. Oh, Julie, this cracks me up. I gotta tell you, though, we beat you. We do our Christmas gift opening on the first full day Great Scott and the girls are out of school: last Thursday, the 21st this year. Unlike other years, though, we did actually take time to wrap presents. (Great Scott has been known to tape a bow on top of a Stuff-Mart bag and be proud of himself. Actually, he’s been known to forego the bow…)

Loot is fun. I’m a sucker for presents, too. Badly.
