I see something missing from the poetry forum discussion, very ironically, and that’s the original “vision” of the board owner. When you work for a company, you are essentially working under the vision of the owner of that company. You choose to work there or not, taking into consideration several things – one of them being how management implements that original vision. Rarely, does anyone find their job perfect or like every person at the company. Most of the time, it’s bearable or good enough – so you take the job (the pay is decent). But, until you work for yourself, you’ll always be under someone else’s thumb.
