  1. I second jilly…

Whahuh? What do you mean they don’t grow on trees?
What about all those tropical visions I had about pineapples swaying in warm breezes from their lofty perches in palm trees?

Next I bet you’re going to tell me the moon’s not made of green cheese!
What is the world coming to?

    pine… glurgle, hic

    trees … glub giggle glurk

  3. The only reason I know they don’t is because my husband grew up in Hawaii.

I only got it wrong once.

  4. I think you’re doing OK – I read that about thirty percent of children these days don’t actually know that food grows in the ground (they think it comes already packaged from the supermarket)

  5. I too thought they grew on trees. Do they grow in the ground? On a bush? Does anyone have any idea how they (growers)grow mini-corn that you find in Asian food?

  6. Lulu,

They come from mini corn fields of course. We have lots of the bigger variety here in Colorado, I think the mini corn fields must be in another state.

I’ll let you know if I ever see any.
