Another cat gone

I had to have Isaac put to sleep this afternoon. She was suffering from squamous cell carcinoma in her jaw and it finally made her unable or unwilling to eat.

It doesn’t get any easier. Saying goodbye should be something that I improve at with all the practice I’ve been getting.

    Oh, I’m so sorry. Writing about it may may you feel better. You never get used to saying goodbye no matter how often you have to do it!

    Twenty years ago I had a cat put to sleep for exactly the same thing. It was so sad, and I am so sorry.
