The other Berts
July 1st, 2009One of the reasons I decided to take Cuthbert was his strong resemblance to two other members of the clan. These are the Berts: Bertram at the top and Albert at the bottom. Albert was Steve’s favorite cat, and he’s the biggest snugglebunny in the world. Bertram is ridiculously playful and tends to drive us all crazy. I hope Cuthbert will be his own cat, bringing his own brand of Catbertness to the mix.

Cuthbert, Albert, and Bertram were all dumped on local rescue orgs because they each had something wrong with them. Albert has blocked tear ducts. Bertram has a heart murmur. And Cuthbert is deaf.
