I’m trying to decide on colors for my house. Which one do you like best? (Image created with the Sherwin-Williams color picker thingaroo. That isn’t my house, but it’s a very similar style and size.)
If it matters to you, the houses on either side of me are pale yellow, and I’m on a street with old houses of all different styles but mine is the only Queen Anne.
Here is my house:
Ordinarily I would have recommended yellow, but as your neighbors already have that color all tied up, I like the green with white trim.
I like the yellow. The neighbors are not that close. My second choice is the blue. But I think I would brighten the blue. I’m against being too tasteful.
Of the four choices here, I like the blue one best (the fourth one).
Yellow! Also good for the house because it makes the heat bounce off.

I think the slate blue looks peaceful, and would match the pale colors of the neighbors, but really, your house should be the color you feel best with, even if the neighbor’s is the same. You will feel great just looking at your beautiful home with a new fresh coat.
