Finally five

I did the Couch-2-5k program in late 2008 and have run off and on since then. Though I could do the time the program required, I am a slow runner so getting to 5k in 30 minutes wasn’t in the cards.

But this morning, starting at a little after 6, I finally got to my 5k distance. It was slow, but I got there. And it was after being a slacker and not running for weeks.

I rock. I would rock more if I’d stick to my running program, but I still rock.
